About Jordan Advertising & Media Awards:

In 2000, the Jordan Advertising Awards was created to honor an absolute standard of creative excellence in advertising and marketing communications originating in Jordan. It is open to all Jordan-based Advertising Agencies, Design Houses, Production Houses and BTL Companies, it has been expanded to also accept entries from Media Agencies and Digital/Interactive Agencies. Therefore, it has been renamed the Jordan Advertising & Media Awards.

The event was first organized in the year 2000, followed by ceremonies in 2001, 2003, 2005, 2007 and 2009.

The event has reflected the growth in Jordan’s advertising and media industries throughout the past decade, as the number of entries grew from one ceremony to the next; peaking at over 700 entries, and witnessing participation from no less than 30 agencies and design firms.

The Jordan Advertising & Media Awards, organized by MediaScope in cooperation with ArabAd, remains the sole award ceremony serving the country’s marketing communications industry, and has acquired credibility through its neutrality and independence.

About MediaScope:
MediaScope is a media marketing, publishing and event organization company established in Jordan in 1994, by Zeid Nasser.

Starting with media sales representation of BYTE Middle East, Sport Auto, Arab Ad, Al Hayat, Maktoob.com and other media the company grew to also encompass publishing activities producing directories such as Who’s Who in Jordan’s Advertising & Media, Who’s Who in Jordan’s ICT, Who’s Who in Jordan’s banking & Insurance, Jordan Real Estate Guide and more.

In events, the company organizes the Jordan Advertising Awards since 2000, which was the first creative awards ceremony in the country and has been held since in 2001, 2003 and 2005 in cooperation with the International Advertising Association (IAA) – Jordan Chapter and Arab Ad

MediaScope is also the organizer, and local partner, for the Jordan App & Web Awards in cooperation with the Pan Arab Excellence Academy (Tatweej). The event recognizes the country’s best websites and mobile applications in all major economic categories. It has been organized five times in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2014.
MediaScope also gained experience in organizing media conferences, starting with the region’s first interactive media conference, held in 2004 (immedia: 04) and in 2005 (immedia: 05) sponsored by top media, telecom and clients with speakers from inside and outside Jordan. Later on, in 2010, 2011 and 2012 MediaScope also successfully organized the mediaME Forum, but the event has been acquired by another company and MediaScope has not been involved in this event since 2013.
Additionally, MediaScope also launched digital media sales representation operations, which evolved into performance advertising services culminating in the launch of Relevant Network, a subsidiary that specializes in affiliate marketing and performance advertising. It is now an established company among the leaders in this field in the MENA region.

Zeid Nasser, Managing Director of Media Scope Ltd., holds an MBA in Marketing and served has the Secretary General of the International Advertising Association (IAA) – Jordan Chapter for nine years (four terms) from 2000–2009. He is a well-known figure in Jordan and the region’s in marketing communications industries, in addition to being a media/technology writer in several regional magazines, a digital media trainer and regular speaker on the digital economy at regional events.
